Hygge CAL

Posted by Annie Altherr at 04:30 0 comments
I have started with one of the planned Hygge Shawls.

I am just not the start and stop person. So I am waiting for the CAL to finish and then I will make both.
I bought this and the Mermaid colour pack.
I have also bought some backing fabric.
I'll add those pictures later.

I and lots of others struggled with the surface crochet.
I thought embroidery and used the chain stitch. It works very well.

I bought the backing fabric from here
It's pretty easy to do without knowing any Dutch.

Atm I am knitting lots of socks.
The only pattern I know by heart.

Here a few examples in 4ply, 6ply and 8ply.

Since then I have knitted another 4 pairs and more to come ๐Ÿ˜‰

Gifts for Noodle the Dachshound

Gifts for the dog of one of my FB friends.

A sweater made from Rowan Wool Cotton
and
a blanket made from Cascade Yarns Ecological wool

Unfortunately Noodle loved the blanket that much she shredded it.
I told my friend not to let her close to sheep if she does that to a woolly blanket ๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ˜ธ

Frida's Flower Blanket

Posted by Annie Altherr at 04:03 0 comments
I took a break from knitting and mastered another crochet blanket.

This time it's Frida's Flower Blanket.

The yarn is the usual suspect called Stylecraft Special DK.
You can buy the colour pack from Wool Warehouse or create your own colour combination.

Hooded Pullover

Another piece for myself

Lang Kapuzenpullover Model Number 200-041-001 published in FAM 200

The yarn I used was Sirdar Harrap Tweed DK.

It worked pretty well as replacement yarn for Lang Donegal.

Brushed Fleece Coat

A coat I made for myself from Rowan Brushed Fleece.
The bugger turned out way too big so it will go on sale at some point.

The pattern is Cookie by Sarah Hatton printed in Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 60

Once I have it sorted for the sale I will add a link.
